Project: September 21
(actually written on friday sept 24, so please excuse & fix any memory faults)
OOo Shiney!
- Wherein SteveS, Jesus, and KatieR show off their webcrawlers, displaying basic functionality, relative links, and a neat extension. Wherein we talk a bit about coding style, and how to make things more readable -- for instance, {{{ (cadr (cadadr babar)) }}} is a bit confusing to read, whereas {{{ (define get-url-from-atag
- (lambda (foo) (cadr (cadadr foo))))
- ..
- (get-url-from-atag babar)
For Next Time
- Either learn "something", or if it is logical to continue extending your code, do that. The reasoning is that everyone in the class is at a different point at the moment, but this doesn't mean that we can't continue moving forward. Basically, figure out something you can learn or write, do it, and show up tuesday with the result -- either the new code, or a paragraph explaining the cool thing you learned.
